Asus took advantage of the CeBIT tradeshow in Germany had announced a version of its low-cost micro laptop with a wider screen. Maybe you had heard about it that the Eee PC 900’s processor is the same 900MHz Celeron M found in the 701, but you would be warmed by other new details that came flooding out today. Let’s see its specs first:

* Storage: 12 GB of Flash-based storage (SSD)

* Screen: 8.9-inch screen with 800 x 480 resolution

* Battery: 4-cell 5200 mAh (rated at 3.5 hours)

It is said that the upcoming model will also have a higher resolution screen:1024*600 pixels.
900 will actually carry two different flash storage units, with 4GB soldered onto the motherboard and an 8GB SSD in the PCIe slot for XP versions and a 16GB unit for Linux models. How do you like its price? Depending on territory, both models will be priced at the same $500-$650 around. When could you get it? You would know it as soon as possible.
